The logo depicts the 'Flight to Egypt'. Migrant workers like the Holy Family in Flight are forced to leave their homes for distant foreign countries. Under such circumstances, migrant peoples often experience alienation, anxiety and uncertainty. The Archdiocesan Commission for Migrants and Itinerant People recognizes the special pastoral needs of the 'people of God on the move' and journeys with them in all their trials and tribulations.

Since the Commission is under the umbrella of the Archdiocese, it is only fitting to give it credit, and also give ownership of the Commission to the Archdiocese.

Henceforth, the complete name of the commission is ARCHDIOCESAN COMMISSION FOR THE PASTORAL CARE OF MIGRANTS & ITINERANT PEOPLE (or ACMI for short).
