The
home has the capacity to accommodate up to 30 residents. The
duration of the stay for residents varies from case to case. It
may range from 6 months to several years. The Director of the Home
and her staff holds case reviews fortnightly.
Half
yearly reviews are held with parents, guardians or referring
parties to assess the progress of each resident. Residents
are taught basic self-help and housekeeping skills to prepare them
for re-integration with the family or for independent living.
They are also supported in their academic studies and personal
development. This service is normally open only to girls.
