Altar Servers
Altar
Servers serve during Masses and other services.Meeting
on every 1st & 3rd Saturdays at 3pm.
2.
Animators
The
Animators are leading the congregation in the singing of hymns during
the Masses and other services. They also form the choir at Sunday
10.45 am Mass..
3.
Building/Maintenance Committee
A
group of building professionals planning and managing the building
of the new church.
4.
Canteen Committee
Manages
the Sunday Canteen by rotation.
5.
Catechist
The
Catechist has a very great and important role to play in the religious
formation of the children. The Catechists are voluntary teachers
who take a class on Saturdays, 5 pm to 6 pm or Sundays, 9.30 am
to 10.30 am. Catechism classes are for all schoolchildren from Pre-primary
to Sec 3.

Catechism for non-Catholic Youths
Youths
from 14 to 18 years old who are interested in the Catholic Faith.

Charismatic Prayer Group
Affiliated
to SACCRE, the group holds prayer meetings every Thursday at 7.45pm.

Sunset
Choir sings at the 6.15 pm Saturday Mass.

Christus Choir sings at the 8.30am Sunday Mass.
AgapeVocei
Choir sings at the 10.45 am Sunday Mass.
Regina
Ceoli Choir sings at the 6.15 pm Sunday Mass.
9. Children’s Apostolate
Organize activities for children of our Parish. Activities include camps, parties, outings, Games Day, etc.
10.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
Two
Sundays every month at the 8.30am and 10.45am Masses. The adult
facilitators meet twice monthly.
11.
Chinese Ministry
Mandarin-speaking
parishioners meet every Wednesday to pray, Taize Prayer, Bible-sharing
and organise activities.
12.
Christum Ferre
A
group of young Christians in charge of religious articles stall
and printing of the “Quarterly Church Newsletter”.
13.
Communion Ministers
By
appointment. To assist Priests in serving Holy Communion during
Mass.
14.
Couples For Christ
A
group which provides ongoing support to all members of the family
through regular prayer and fellowship in cell groups, retreats and
outreach.
15.
Companions of Christ
Take
turn to watch and adore the Blessed Sacrament in the IHM Adoration
Room – THE GETHSEMANE.
16.
Divine Mercy Prayer
Monday
to Friday, after the 6.15 pm Mass.
17.
Epiphany Group
A group of mission oriented parishioners who help to promote parish
mission awareness through its activities.
18.
Family Life Apostolate
They
organize and promote family orientated activities. Meeting is on
every 1st Sunday of the month.
19.
IHM Christian Meditation
Every
Thursday at 10 am in Rm 2-5 of the Parish Centre, or every Friday
at 8 pm in Prayer Hall A, 3rd level of Parish Centre.
20.
Legion of Mary
The
object of the Legion of Mary is to glorify God through holiness
of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation, under
ecclesiastical guidance, in Mary’s and the Church’s
work of salvation and evangelisation.

Librarians
are on duty every Sunday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.

Malayalam Prayer Group
A
group of Indian ladies praying and singing in Malayalam. Every Thursday
– 9am in church.
23.
Ministry to the Sick
A
group of Catholics who visit sick/elderly parishioners at their
home or hospital and give Holy Communion to them.
24.
Natural Family Planning (NFP)
Qualified
instructors advising young couples on NFP. Every Tuesday from 7.30pm
- 9.30pm.
25.
Opus Dei Day of Recollections for Women
A
group of ladies that meet every 4th Monday of the month after the
6.15 pm Mass for catechesis, reconciliation, and prayers.
26.
Organists
Organists:
Sunday/Weekday Masses. Marriages and Funerals. Meeting every alternate
month.
27.
Our Lady of Sorrows
Members
assist bereaved family during wakes in prayers for deceased parishioners.
Every 2nd of the month, rosary and special prayers are said before
the evening Mass. Annual Grand Meeting once a year.

Parish Council (Pastoral
Council)

Readers (Lectors)
The
Readers (Lectors) are an essential part of the Liturgy of the Word
during Sunday and Weekday Masses and other services. Meeting at
least twice a year.
30.
Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults
(RCIA)
The
RCIA group meets on every Wednesday 7.45pm – 9.30pm. RCIA
in Mandarin or Teochew is on request.
31.
Small Christian Communities
Neighbourhood
cell groups in the parish that meets twice a month for prayer, catechesis,
intercession, sharing Christ, and fellowship.
32.
St Vincent De Paul
The
SVDP conference takes care of the poor in their spiritual and material
needs. Meeting: 2nd & last Wednesday of the month at 8.00pm.
33.
St Vincent De Paul Juniors
Children,
aged from 11 to 16 years, who are keen in servicing the poor through
various activities. Meet on every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month.
34.
Vocation Team
A
team that helps to promote vocation to priestly and religious life.
35.
Wardens
The
wardens welcome and help Parishioners to find a place in the Church
and are in charge of the order and good behaviour in the Church.
Meeting – Last Monday of the month at 8pm.
36.
Willing Hands
A
group that cleans the church every Monday and Friday from 8am to
11am. Meets once a month for prayer and fellowship.
37.
Young Adults Group
Formation
to young adults to grow spiritually and to provide support to fellow
young Catholics. Meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
38.
Youth Group
A
group of young Catholics sharing their faith and zeal of apostolate
in various ways. Saturday, 8pm
