The New Roman Missal (NRM) will take effect in our diocese on 1 Sunday of Advent, which is 27 November 2011.

Here is the Pastoral Letter from the Catholics Bishops Conference and Timeline with details about the adoption of the NRM. Please read them to get a better understanding of why the changes are made.

A formation program for our clergy has been organized for 17 & 18 August, afterwhich all parishes are expected to prepare themselves for the change.

In the month of September 2011, parishes in our diocese will be reciting the parts of the mass so that the laity can be familiarized with the changes.
