The name Abeng.com brings to mind about some dialect speaking gangsters who somehow are rather internet savvy. Actually it is just an acronym for the different faculties under this Faculty Cell Group (FCG); Architecture, Building & real estate, ENGineering and the Conservatory Of Music (ABENG.COM).
We have weekly cell group sessions which are held at block SDE 1 on Wednesday evenings. They are run by cgls (Cell Group Leaders) who lead the discussions in accordance to the spiritual program. We too have daily rosary sessions where we come together to reflect the different rosary mysteries and offer any intentions that we have. This helps maintain our spiritual life and as the saying goes, ‘a family which prays together stays together’. At the same time, the study corner is our usual gathering place where we go to study and bond.
We have occasional gatherings at chalets or at our members’ houses. In addition, we have outings for occasions like birthdays or just simply to bond and catch a movie. These are times when we grow closer and uncover more about each other.
