What is the Legion of Mary?
The Legion of Mary is one of the largest apostolic organization of lay people within the Catholic Church. Membership extends to over 3 million active members in almost every country in the world. The object of the Legion of Mary is the glory of God through the holiness of its members developed by prayer and active co-operation in Mary's and the Church's work.
What does our praesidium do?
Each member is an instrument through whom God works His blessings and miracles. Some of the works that we have done over the years are visitations of the sick and aged, speaking to NUS students on the Catholic faith through book sales, faith formation talks, teaching cathechism and lunch time masses.
We have an annual retreat to recharge ourselves spiritually, especially after the gruelling end-of-term exams. Other informal social activities are also organized from time to time to foster bonding and community spirit amongst our members
