About the Sojourners' Companions

The Sojourners' Companions comprise a group of dedicated prayer guides. Serving on a voluntary basis in this ministry, the Sojourners' Companions have a passion to journey with others in prayer using Scriptures.

The first batch of Companions were trained by Fr. Gerard Hughes, S.J., in 1995. Subsequent groups were trained by others who have studied the dynamics of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

The Sojourners' Companions offer a Week of Guided Prayer in local parishes. We have also conducted some Weeks of Guided Prayer in West Malaysia.

Our Mission

We strive to be witnesses of Christ by being people of prayer and journeying with others through Scriptures so as to deepen their experience of God in their daily lives.
